MARK COWIT 08/01/57 - 01/04/24
Thank you for visiting Traymar Plastics Equipment. Mark Cowit was in the equipment sales industry for over 40 years.
When Mark's youngest daughter was diagnosed at 7 years of age, he put on a rubber JDRF bracelet. He told her that he would wear it until a cure was found. He wore that bracelet until his passing. We wish to honor him by supporting JDRF because we believe in their vision of a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
With T1D, a person's pancreas stops producing insulin - a hormone essential to turning food into energy. The daily life of someone with T1D brings a multitude of challenges, including insulin injections that need to be carefully balanced with eating and activity, disruptive glucose monitoring, sleepless nights - and wishing for a tomorrow where this struggle doesn't exist.
Mark wanted his legacy to include being part of JDRF life - creating breakthroughs to remove the incredible daily burden of this disease - until it no longer exists.
Thank you for honoring Mark's memory by donating and supporting JDRF's important work.
